Girls in Glasses

If you're looking for a visual novel that blends slice-of-life charm with a touch of historical intrigue and plenty of adult content, Girls in Glasses might just be your next obsession. This game throws you into the shoes of a detached high school student whose life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with three very different girls—each with their own quirks, struggles, and, yes, glasses.

The story kicks off with Hidekazu, a second-year student at Sakurahane Academy, who couldn’t care less about the cherry blossoms painting the school in shades of pink. His childhood friend, Kana Mebusaki, is the exact opposite—bubbly, scatterbrained, and obsessed with the idea of spring as a fresh start. The contrast between them is immediate, setting up a dynamic that’s both familiar and endearing. Then there’s Kotomi Garei, the overachieving first-year class president who’s too busy for her own good, and Iroha Nenegawa, a mysterious third-year who drops historical references like it’s nothing. The way these characters weave into Hidekazu’s life feels organic, thanks to the game’s simulation-style mechanics that let you explore different locations and deepen relationships at your own pace.

Where this game truly shines, though, is in its uncensored adult content. With 18 H-scenes, fully voiced heroines (minus the protagonist), and character-specific routes, it’s clear the developers didn’t half-ass the erotic elements. The CGs are detailed, the scenes are varied, and the fact that every heroine wears glasses adds a nice thematic consistency. Plus, the bonus wallpapers are a neat touch for fans who want to keep the vibe going outside the game.

Final opinion

A solid visual novel with strong character writing and plenty of steamy scenes. The historical nods and simulation elements add depth, but the real draw is the uncensored content. If you're into glasses-wearing heroines and slow-burn romance, this one's worth your time.
