Remember those childhood days when you desperately wanted to be a superhero? Yuuki Yamato certainly does. He built his entire identity around the comic book heroes he adored, always rushing to defend his best friend Haruna from bullies. But life, as he painfully learned, isn't a comic book. His attempts at heroism consistently fell short, leaving him with more bruises than victories. The final blow came when a dejected Haruna revealed she was moving away. She asked him to see her off, but Yamato, his pride too wounded, couldn't muster the courage to face her.
At his absolute lowest, a mysterious figure known as the Memory Collector appeared. This enigmatic old man offered a classic, yet dangerous, bargain: one wish in exchange for a single memory. Without hesitation, Yamato wished to become his ultimate idol, Dengeki Stryker. Years later, that wish manifests in spectacular fashion. A city, now home to Haruna, is besieged by the mechanical army of the Balbora Empire. With conventional forces utterly powerless, a single hero emerges to challenge the cyborg onslaught - a hero who bears a striking resemblance to the legendary Dengeki Stryker.
